t-19 came with a granny gear also. it was something like 5.6:1, the big atvantage is first gear is syncroed. i did know any jeep ever came w/ a 19 though... i thought only scout and fords. in the 18 reverse is over and up, and in the 19 it is over and down. i also believe flat top years are 77...

these two statements lead me to believe it was prolly a 10 bolt.... he deserved to snap an axle if this is the case
