I did the bleed down test...as soon as I shut off the engine it bleeds to zero. No waiting 30 minutes to watch it drop 20 PSI...right to zero...whew!

I purchased some tire schrader valves at Pep Boys (I needed the valve core tool) and they had a red ring (seal). I purchased 2 AC schrader valves at a parts store and they had a black ring. I would expect that is how you tell the difference...red for tires and black for AC.

In case anyone else runs into this problem...schrader valves cost a little under $2. If they're missing, your AC charge will leak out. I still haven't figured out where mine went...and when? But apparently my auto parts place sells a bunch of them.

Purchased a new pulley (around $12 at NAPA) and a new transmission cooler hose (around $26 at NAPA) and a new serpentine belt. If all goes well the jeep should be up and running tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
