Why i dont understand ............ they are an expensive waste......... buy a real Jeep and build it the way you want for half the price........ why buy something that is only partially capable of something you can build yourself

I dont know why you would want a rubicon unless you just plan on wheeling on the highway..... Buy a real Jeep like a YJ or CJ and build it the way you want for less than half the price of a rubicon and 100 times more capable than a rubicon will ever be. :twisted:

1981 CJ5 for sale in Louisiana just discovered that all 3 motor mount bolts on passenger side of my 4.0 94 cherokee have sheared flush with the block. anybody seen this before and what is the best way to repair. not much room to work.

the only numbers i have found on the transmission are 964-1 on the top of the bellhousing, i couldnt find an actual i.d. tag.

how can i tell the difference between a torqueflite 904 and 999? is there any website that i can enter the i.d. numbers and see the results? thanks in advance for any info.

working for the local Jeep dealership they expect the new 2005 grands in late august to mid september and will carry a price tag around 43,--- thats so far some of the info i know about the upcomming events......... we have also recieved 7 2005 libertys

Ive got a 94 XJ with a 3" lift no vibrations at all and im running 31x10.50's with no trouble

Well how about this ................. take my advice............... get one of each.......... Keep the XJ get a CJ and a YJ and then decide........... I have a descent XJ a really nice CJ7, and we are currently building a YJ, and i drive enough TJ's during the week when i work at the Jeep...

haha......... brings back memories of a couple of weeks ago. I work at a Jeep dealership here in town and there was a YJ in the shop. It was only lifted by shackles and the guy had 35" MT/Rs on it........ those were some big shackles

My 82 CJ-7 with a 258 and 33's with stock gearing will do 70 + on the interstate its been as fast as 80 with no problems so i dont see how a TJ could top out at 70
