This sounds very normal for it to rise a little bit, especially with the AC on and stop and go traffic, i would check the coolant level just to be sure.

did you check the sway bar links?

how much of a lift?

What about the front coils? If you have them, do you know if they are taller than the ones on the 4.0? Thanks, -Cody

This sounds really simple and I'm sure you did this, but I had the same exact problem and I put some Lucas in and the transmission fluid was low. Topped it off and it seemed to fix it.
