check the fast idle cam. its the bottom screw on the passenger side linkage (flathead). turning it out is going to lower the fast idle and turning it in will increase it. im tooling around with that now, but thats because my idle doesnt go up high enough when i start it. i imagine yours...

i believe you are supposed to get the mixture right first, then set the idle. turning the screws in leans out the mixture and out will enrich the mixture. this is my first car with a carb, so im not really proficient in tuning it myself. tug told me to turn in one screw until the engine...
