    Is It Worth It?

is the turn signal problem in the switch or is the stalk broken - the switch is an easier fix - the stalk is a bit more work to R/R as you have to disassemble more behind the wheel - you dont have to pull the column for either (done both) let me know and i'll try to walk ya thru it.... ALSO...

    HELP!!! cylinder locks

should only have to remove the cover - the bump inside the gate - has the torx bolts around the perimeter - then theres some linkage and a clip that holds the cyl in place... the lock itself is prob gonna be a dealer item - i've been looking round the local parts stores for a while for one for...

it'll fit - but that listing is just one door - and the upper hinge pin is missing (the threaded one that takes a nut to hold it on) - and no mirrors and upper channel? hmmm - doesnt sound like a good deal for $260 - if i knew how to ship i'd sell ya my pair of red 1/2 doors w/gray interior for...

    Help a kid out...... please

search for the motorcraft (ford) swap from an I-6 300 cid i believe = pretty straightforward deal (would do it myself if it weren't for the smog testing here in vegas...) - there are more than a few writeups on this board alone... should be able to pull it off for LOTS less $$$ than a weber and...

i had a little adapter for my old personal cd player, it plugged into the headphone jack (ext spkr jack on the cb) and had a little box w/antenna - used a AA battery and xmitted on fm - choice of freq. - look for that in the accessory area at a walmart or such - your other option is getting a...

    Is It Worth It?

just a note - starter should only be about 40 bucks or so w/LLT warranty and the turnsignal stalk is 35 or so (if the switch is still good) @ the dealer (and LOTS of fun to change i found out....) sounds like a keeper...

is the jeep moving when you try to engage it (so the splines can line up)? are the pawls lined up with the slip collar correctly? and is the cable lined up on the housing? i did the cheapo bicycle cable/spring set up - mine is permanently locked as the cable started binding up on me... just some...

    Swamper LTB's ???

yea... not sure about the quantity but when you dump bb's or buckshot inside the tire when installing, they will spread out as the tire rotates and dynamically "balance" the tire at speed as centrifugal force spreads them out - heard of others using water but never seen it - and water would not...

    360 Oil pump replacement

dont forget to check your main bearing clearances also... it can really affect oil pressure - my old mustang (68 w/390) would be around 40 psi cold/5-7 psi warm - mains were the problem - just another thing to check if your gonna dump $$$ into the motor you got...

    Swamper LTB's ???

yea ditto on the balancing - had a friend back in FL running 44" swampers on his F350 and he used buckshot to get his streetable - as for rims i was running 32x11.5 BFG A/T's on stock alum. rims on my old 91 Sahara w/4" lift and had great results - could air down to about 8 psi and didnt break a...

    Fuel line security

great idea! too bad theres not a commonly available substance to mix w/the fuel that would blow the heads off a motor... sugar is too good for those dirtbags!

    Lifting

okay... i'm not dissin' the A/T's - they were GREAT on rock and sand, aired down to 8 psi on stock rims (32x11.5) - never had a problem when the conditions were dry... just wanted to point that out- A/T's are great until they get wet... thats all.... my M/T's are better and they dont mind mud...

    Lifting

DO NOT judge the M/T's by the A/T's - when i moved out here to the desert i learned the difference b/w Florida (sand) mud and Nevada (mostly clay) mud - the A/T's i had scared the heck out of me with sliding and almost getting stuck - havent had that prob with the M/T's - there might be a reason...
