    Hole in Exhaust; Temp Fix?

it'll do it = been there / done that - back in FL (with all the humidity and all it would last a few weeks) plenty of hose clamps (the more the better...) they seemed to work better than c-clamps since youre not trying to bind to pcs. together....

How to install an electric fan?

you should be able to remove the fan mounting bolts, remove the fan then re-mount the pulley (you may need shorter bolts) - this keeps the pully and belt in the original spot (if its typical of most engine setups) - as for the wiring - you can run it thru a relay powered by the acc. position...

    89 yj wrangler wont start

first off, welcome to jeepz!!! i have an 89 and the biggest problem i had w/not starting was the ECM (electronic control module) - the little "black (actually silver) box" that lives in the engine bay that controls everything (mine is under the radiator recovery bottle on the driver side - great...

Tire fitting / gearing on YJ

i'm running 33x12.5 on my stock driveline (4.2/5 spd) with a 4"lift - some rubbing on the tub in the back - you can forget about 5th gear unless youre running over 65 on flat or downhill.... stock gearing is around 3:25or so - if you can find a set of 4cyl axles they are 4:11 but hard to find...

    Flush Mounttail lights.

yea... go to a truck stop - you can get the lights, gaskets and pigtails you need - you'll have to cut/slpice the wiring in but thats no big deal - just make sure to waterproof the connections! - also make sure your flasher relay will work with them as they dont draw the current a normal light...

    Limited slip or not????

thinking an easy way to tell is to get one tire off the ground, put it in gear and try to spin the raised tire... you shouldn't be able to if its limited slip or posi - or you can lift both (use jackstands) and spin a tire while in neutral - if they both spin the same direction - limited /posi -...
