Finished wiring flat dash. Wired all gauges to factory harness. Always fun with volt meter and tracing wires.

Installed with hinge at bottom for easy access

Yeah it was fun. Downsized. New baby and wife didn't feel as safe in the cj. Maybe one day my yj will grow up too.

You had good luck out spartan? Your 8.8 swap did you have to do a 2 inch lift also to keep bind out of drivetrain. Seen people talking about the 8.8 having a longer pinion length than dana

Was leaning towards doing a spartan front and rear. Only on 31's and no rock crawling.

I have a 1991 yj with 4banger and a posi lok cable. Was wondering if anyone has any opinions on locker options for front and rear. Only running 31 's but do a far bit of mud riding

Replaced alternator with correct one. Previous owner had made a gm alternator work. And come to find out had cut exciter wire. Had to require that too. Man gotta love previous owners and botched wiring

Not positive. But does a cj use an exciter wire to turn on alternator ? Maybe it is not turning on to charge

Was fun but wasn't very highway friendly

Just 32x11.50. Mostly trail riding. It gets a little tiring. I already a cj5 with 40's on it. Plan on staying a little more practical with this one
