By everything I've researched, you should be able to go 8" and maybe 7". I'd go for 8's. 32" tires should fit fine and you MAY be able to do 33's.

Is the dome light on, too? Sounds like it may a fuse that has to be pulled like on the TJ's. Either that or you can a product called "lights out". Looks like a mini barbell clamp but goes over the door pin.

When you get them out, replace them with like size hex heads.

I got a filter from Auto Zone, but it looks totally different. Instead of having a plastic housing, it's just a thin fabric filter. Oh, and no O ring. Am I missing something or is that the difference between the $7 and the $31 filters?

I've got Firestone Destination M/T's (30 x 9.5). Great road manners, no noise and really good off road performance. Plus, at around $130 each, not a bad deal at all.

I've had mine about halfway up the doors (stock height and 30's) for a short period of time and no ill effects. We were in rocker height water for the majority of that same trip. I need to change the transmission fluid, but nothing catastrophic.
