X2, SteelHeadz brought up a valid point. You start running into a lot of unseen problems when you go over 1". You have to start lengthing sticks on your transmission/tc etc.
I agree with all the above, had an 86' CJ with SOA and YJ stock leafs, had tons of axle wrap, bought a DYI traction bar kit and it helped, but to do it right I would get some leafs made to be SOA like the RE 1.5" SOA springs.
A body lift only lifts the body off the frame, it doesn't effect steering or driveline components. You shouldn't need a drop pitman arm if you are doing a body lift and your steering isn't currently effected.
