    vacuum hoses everywhere

1068885 You can get rid of most of the vacuum line and solenoids if you still have them. You only need a couple. I try and find the link with a weber vacuum routing. Page title: Weber vacuum line [addsig]

    weber carb issues

1069010 Hey chinard, just buy a seperate breather at Autozone or an autoparts store. It is a little filter that pops right into the rear grommet on the valve cover It will eliminate that hose. Were did you get the red vacuum hoses? edited by: jay89, May 27, 2003 - 04:54 AM[addsig]

    windshield hinges suck!!!!

1069216 Yeah snitty's right there are no nuts on the windsheild hinges. Just like mine the weld broke from the frame and the torx screw just kept spinning. I ended up having to drill them out and went to Home Depot to get toggle anchors with 1/4 in stainless bolts. Good luck. It is a pain in...

    weber carb issues

1069219 Hey Chinard, How do you have your vac advance on the distributor running. It looks like you have it to manifold vacuum? And I noticed you have a juicbox. Doen't the juice box call for it to be hooked up to ported vacuum on the carb?[addsig]

    Mounted....Wired.......Dark???????

1069307 Run a separate switch. Run the yellow wire from the battery to the switch and the white from the switch to th lights. If you keep it like it is it will probably keep blowing the fuse because it is too much to have more lights on one fuse.[addsig]

    Weber Carb model

1069535 Go with the K551 but if you have strict inspection laws it may not pass because it eliminates a lot of the vacuum and emission parts. My Weber works great. My only complaint is the nice chrome air filter cover is starting to rust already it has only been a couple of months.[addsig]

    electric fan?

1069537 Does it really give you more power to switch to an electric fan? And do you have to re route the belts or do you just remove the fan and leave the pulley?[addsig]

    Mr. Heat Miser

1069841 If you have your carpet out it lets the heat in. The padding and the carpet act as a heat shield. All vehicles get hot in that area. If you don't want carpet you may have to make a heat shield for underneath.[addsig]

    what the @#$%

1069842 I have a Weber and it runs great. When I first got it it would hesitate and back fire when I romped on it. You just have to find the perfect mixture. It takes a while but it works. I was told to back out the idle speed screw all the way and try and find the sweet spot with the air/fuel...
