RE: Throttle body help Alright, good deal, thanks. I'm gonna go see if its a D44 or a D35, then maybe pick it up, think there's any chance it has 3.07 gears?

    '87 Pickup

Well, it was a tiny little pickup if that helps. I don't remember what kind it was, I don't think it was a J-series though, because the J-series were all pretty large, weren't they? I guess it was a Comanche then. But either way, the axle will be too wide?

    Doetsch Tech shocks

'87 Pickup Golly, hope I spelled that right. I was looking around for new shocks and have heard great things about these ones, and I went to Rubicon Express to order me a set of them. I got kinda confused though. I went almost all the way through the process and they never asked for my year...

    '87 Pickup

RE: Re: RE: Modifications on gear for HEI What rear end would an '87 pickup have, and would it fit on my '80 CJ with narrow track axles? I'll probably only be interested if it's a D44. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks y'all!

    Modifications on gear for HEI

AMC V-8 Dist Drive Gear I'm doing the HEI swap for my CJ but I can't seem to find an AMC V-8 to pull a gear from and no auto parts store has one. Is there any way to modify the existing gear to fit on the HEI dist? I would just look myself but the stock dist is still on the engine and I need...

    AMC V-8 Dist Drive Gear

RE: Sherrif Brody would I'm doing an HEI swap for my CJ and this is the last thing I need. I've checked every auto parts store in town and even called the dealership. There is only one junkyard in town which had an AMC V-8 in it but the guy won't let me take it apart because he thinks it might...

    Welding help anyone?

I have also read about people hooking up a couple of car batteries on the trail to weld up something, if this is possible, why can't one just plug into the output post on your alternator and use it as a stick welder? If it's grounded on the frame, it shouldn't be a problem should it? Unless it...

    Ok, I'm sorry, I've got another one. . .

Oh, I'm sorry, meant to post this diagram with it: Since I posted this, I've found that if I unhook either of the wires going to the regulator, it stops. This is probably just common sense, but I don't know what to think anymore. I'm completely stumped. I've checked over everything and I...

    Ok, I'm sorry, I've got another one. . .

Ok, I checked over everything again and this is what I came up with. . . nothing. I did find however, that when I unhook the wire marked in blue, the Jeep will shut down during it's run-on. Is it alright to run without this wire? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
