Is working out very well for me. Sold my 79 cj5 back in 93. Have been kicking myself and groaning about it ever since. Missed my Jeep. So I purchases a 77 that still has the original exhaust system on it. Pretty good shape this little cj5. It had a bad miss but idled perfect and didn't smoke...

I like the idea of that curved channel. Better than the old snaps. Maybe Bestop will get back to me soon. Maybe I ask Morris about it.

By golly, I'll have to check that channel closer. Here's the hole I'm talking about. Looks a lot bigger from the inside and lets in a lot of cold air.

Pretty sure the channel is correct for the Jeep. If I went to a wider channel, would still have the large hole? Not familiar with the newer Jeeps/CJs.

Hmm, wrong top. Tried reading through Bestop, no details on the corners. I'm stuck with what I got. Cut the plastic out, add a snap?

Hello, noob here. Bought a 1977 cj5 couple weeks ago. PO installed a new top. If I remember right, tops on my previous CJ5s had a snap in the corner of the top. Something new? Something missing? Installed wrong? Knuckles
