ok I jsut went out and had to make damn sure but the leaf pack is on top of the axel. in that kit does it matter what the diameter of the axel is? it looks fairly big and guessing i would say 3" but i will have to get out the caliper to make certain of that.

i was told that i can put 30" on a stock cherokee and not have to many problems. I am currently runnign some 235/75/r15 bfg's street radials and thought they were pretty much the same as a 29" tire.

I am very courious of any recalls concerning the fuel pumps in the cherokees? i found out today that my 96 sprot had a loose connectin on the fuel pump and was causing an arc inside the gas tank. the wire had been bunt about 1 inch and there was some charing marks from the arching taking place...

Problem solved. come to find out it was the connection peices on the fuel pump itself, and the hose from the tank to the filter was rotting. this is where the little black specs were comming from. I am so thankfull that the pump itself wasnt gone. straight from the dealer was a hair under $500...

i did take a look at the relay and yes that same box is there on the passenger side. I took it completly apart to see if it was connecting like it should be and found nothing. but didnt try and move them around. I will have to give that a shot in the morning.
