Calling all Cops!!! nope no cali emissions here in utah. actually to be honest in my town we dont even have emissions laws!! :)

well I got about half way out of my driveway this morning to go and get the O2 sensor ordered in) and it just dies on me. hesitated for a fraction of a sec and then completly cut out. and to top it all of it would NOT start again after that. I swear it is one thing after another with this jeep!!

well I got both of them out just a bit ago and they both looked ok I guess. they had the rust color to them. (exhaust) and didnt LOOK burnt, but thats not saying they or one isnt. I did take a look at the wires and they look to be ok. is there anything inpeticular that I should be looking for...

sounds good man. ill take a look at it in the moning and see if it has a shorted wire or the sensor itself is crap!! LOL

so which O2 sensor is this? front or back. :D

well checker here had one that i was able to get my hands on for a bit. it came up with a code 141 and pending 138. something to do with the O2 sensor.

is there any way to check them without using the scan thingy? I dont exactly have the money just yet to go out and pick one up.

THX I would tell you what my plates are but that would involve me getting up outta my chair and going outside to look at them. I just got through eating a really big dinner!! LOL maybe tommorrow when i am out or something? LOL

oh man!! LOL the front of the jeep has major rock chips under that bra. I like the look that it gives it though. just could do without the screen thingy that goes over the radiator. i guess it is a little extra protection for it though? kinda sucks thoguh when there is a foot of snow caked on...

i understand that anyone on the streets could get the same info but, they arent all out at the same time and readily available like the net is. you have to visually see the vehicle on the road or parked in a lot in order to get that kinda info.

Need some Mechanical advice. the reason I do it is because I know that there are people on the internet that know how to find information about the owner from the plates. lasthing I want is for someone to start watching how and when I drive my vehicle and the perfect times to jack it. granted...
