I disagree. I have F350s in VEX, front and rear, with the set up I've described, and there is NO vibration, ever. I have put about 650,000 miles on this set up since I did it in 1997 and it works perfect, velvet smooth and no errors and no longer break DLs and U-joints in off road touch...

If you do get a new DL (Drive Line-Drive shaft), go to a junk yard and get one from a F350 and have the CV joint put in at the TC end after its cut down for your Jeep. It will be a little cheaper than buying a new little tiny Jeep DL. Just a thought. Robert

Beautiful Jeep. I had one question for you: Why the T-5 transmission, or, are you gonna swap that out at some point? Also, are you going to swap in the Superior solid rear axles in the AMC 20 housing so the factory one's don't strand you? Great ride and should be wonderful for you. Robert

Gotta do both. Auburn Gear is top notch. Are you certain on that transmission model for your year? With the VIN# and search carfax you will get all the data on that Jeep and gear ratio if it is not tagged on the diffs. Robert

I'm watching this as I am thinking of Bestop soft doors for VEX only that down here along the border my top is off all the time, and hard doors as well, and thinking of have soft doors to throw in when I need doors and the windshield up. Cool report and helpful. Robert
