    possessed alarm, help?

I am amazed at these reports. New is not better. I am so retro I cannot imagine this whatsoever, and in a "Jeep", so called, nonetheless. Wow. I have nothing to offer, obviously, and so sorry you are having trouble with your "Jeep"..... Robert

This is quite wise. Never put them on till you're alone. Very wise. On another note, was checking my other set of tire chains and ran them yesterday out in the desert and was ask why I would do this by a fella in town here. I answered, it gives more traction, and with one end locked up, it...

So true. As well, after 46 years of these, I also blame a lot of things; people, climate, location, foreign government rules, environment, etc. With that, I've noticed over the years I'v become more and more faultless in all ways and areas. Almost genius in my abilities and my Jeep's abilities...

And Ian, here is another shot with a more natural color blend in the Southwest Desert Commons, along the Mexican border here in southeastern NM. The afternoon light blends this well and shows the darker shade of the tan you may be after. Hope that is helpful for a suggestion. Robert

Hey Ian, Sure love your job you have done so far. You used the zinc chromate as did I, but your job is much better than mine and the way you did it, will last far longer. I am most impressed and well done, sir. The color choice is excellent as well. You mention you want it tan but darker...

Do you think my D35 shafts will fail now?

I did that trick too and it worked well for me for years. When I built the new tire rack-can carrier for VEX I used a extra 5 hole hub and welded that to the rack--with the studs there, it was a logical mount for the tire and chains hanging on same. I love all these mods we come up with. For...

    Rear seat belt question

It is so. They came from a 1 ton Ford PU, so, pretty hefty. But then VEX is a rebuild from a total, so anything goes.....As long as it does not crap out in the Sonora, or pull apart in a pull. So far, so good, after 20 years. The owner/driver, tragically, is quite a different matter...

door rack for all soft top 2 door Jeeps

jeeezzzzzzzz, what an absolutely cool and slick idea. After all these 46 years of Jeeps, I've always wondered how I could mount these heavy things in such a way to not have them hanging off the back or in the bed of my army trailer. Wow, hat is tipped. Excellent. I am going to print this out...

    Rear seat belt question

Hey everyone, thank you for the clarification of my Jeep is: "VEX". After 20 years of the thing and being all over the planet, the Jeep is family and I carelessly and brainlessly assume everyone knows what it is. So stupid, so vexed. Oh well, guys, consider the source--hahaha. Robert
