    Add-A-Leaf Questions

1062666 I can get TJ flares for about 20$ from my friend once he buys some new ones for his 99 TJ. And if he doesn't do it in a timely fashion, then I can just buy some on ebay for like 80$. So that cost plus some 2" AALs will only be around 300$, if that. And thanks for the how-to on...

    Red line oil.....or........amzoil???????????????

1062669 Yeah, I use Castrol GTX in all of my cars and have never had a problem. And for $21 a case, you can't beat the price and quality. TARSI [addsig]

where do you store your windows?

1062676 I know in the owners manual they say to put them in a window storage bag and put them behind the rear seat, but I don't have that bag and I took out my rear seat, so I had to come up wiht a different way. Since I have no rear seat, I just lay them on the floor and then throw my old...

    Firearms Refesher Course!!!

1062686 Yeah, I've been around guns since I was 5 years old. While all of our guns are unloaded and locked in our safe, I have aobut 8 loaded magazines for each pistol (we have 12) stacked up and ready in there. I can get to them in about 20 seconds and have them loaded 3 seconds after that...

where do you store your windows?

1062691 J10@Mt.EdenKy, Im an easy going person and I rarely get pissed off. However, you are really starting to piss me off, alright? Heres a guy who just wants to know how to store his windows in his jeep with the top off an you threaten to kill him. Thats just not right. And its not just...

    Will Spring ever get here?

1063374 Yeah, in NE PA its snowing as we type. We're supposed to get anywhere from 6 inches to a foot. TARSI[addsig]

My "jeep chick" status didn't work for me today.

1063400 I know what you mean. I will always love my 93 YJ, but at the end of the summer I'm going to trade up to a 99 TJ with the 4.0 and a 5-speed. Mostly I want a smoother ride. The potholes around here are so bad that I bent my drivers side axle shaft on one and then two weeks later...

    Will Spring ever get here?

1063401 randomjeeper, where in PA are you? I'm in the northeast about 30 mins south of Pocono Raceway. TARSI[addsig]

    Can you ????

1063447 Yeah you can. I put a double tube with a receiver on my 93 YJ. Contrary to Snitty's experiences I had one hell of a time getting those bumperettes off. The bolts on the outsides came off real easy, but the ones on the inside were a totaly different story. I eventually had to wrestle...

    FLUSH MOUNT TAIL LIGHTS.

1063478 You might also want to look into those license plate screws with lights in them. They're pretty cool. 2 of them would light up the plate real nice. TARSI[addsig]

    Herculiner Photos

1063549 That sure looks great. Herculiner is probably going to be my last project on my current jeep before I sell her in favor of a 99 TJ. I'm sure its gonna be fun putting it on and I hope I can get results like yours. TARSI[addsig]

    new motor!

1063550 Yeah, 147,000 isnt all that much. My old 1988 Ford F-150 2wd had 248,000 on the clock when I sold her for my jeep (that 300 straight 6 was the sh|t) and my dads 1997 Ford Escort had 179,000 on it when he traded it in for his Tahoe. TARSI[addsig]

constructive criticism wanted: my new website...

1063683 I agree with you 100%. I learned how to make pages in notepad 4 years ago and I have been doing so ever since. It gives you a sense of accomplishment(sp?) to be able to code for hours and then see a beautiful website as the fruits of your labor TARSI[addsig]

2.5 vs. 4.0, sorry i am new to offroading

1063709 Its all about personal preference. The 2.5 will get you anywhere, it just might not be as fast. With the proper driver, the 4 banger can hang with the big V8 boys, but has an advantage because its lighter. TARSI[addsig]

2.5 vs. 4.0, sorry i am new to offroading

1063726 On-road the 2.5 is just fine. I commute to NJ (45 miles away) 3-4 times a week. That is all highway and I have no trouble at all maintaining 80 mph. I'm glad I have the 2.5 cuz if I had the 6cyl, I'd probably get a lot of speeding tickets. TARSI[addsig]

    What a blow!

1063745 Wow, that must feel like a kick in the cojones. But the good part is buying the sawzall. Everything works out fine if you can buy some new tools. TARSI[addsig]
