Schumaker for the win, my smaller table model has lasted me for 23,24 years. It has been one of the most trouble free anything I've ever owned. I did something recently I've never done, I E mailed them to tell them how good of a product they make. They never got back to me. *******s ! lol

Make sure the rubber gasket on the cap doesn't have anything on it and it is perfectly clean. Make sure the mating filler neck surface is also clean. If this is good, you may want to put a small amount of grease all the way around the gas cap gasket to see if it seals that way.

I highly doubt it and don't expect the 304 to perform like a mustang ! lol

You might find a new frame isn't as expensive as you think for those. Also they are boxed and much stronger then any stock frame.

Getting it running before doing something with the wiring, even if you only inspect it, may be a good way to burn down the garage ! Always have a fire extinguisher at hand
