I've read some great reviews on the Avenger carb. on it's ability to function properly at extreme angles. One person reported his Jeep's engine continued to run smoothly even after it rolled on it's side!

Í'm interested in a hi incline carb like the Holley Truck Avenger to replace the stock Motorcraft for my 77 304 CJ-7. Are there any others I should consider instead? Or should I just opt for the fuel injection? What manifold would be a good choice? I run sand dunes that get pretty steep.

I posted this question in another forum & got my question answered. There is no seal between the units and lube flows freely between them. Fluid height is checked at the transfer case.
