Yeah, air bag computers only deploy them if you are going a minimum of (correct me if I'm wrong) 25 or 30 mph and only if you get hit from the front or back. I think anyways. Anyways, just dump the yuppie TJ ( :) j/k) and get a YJ or CJ and wear your seatbelt. haha

trimming fender flares Well, it's not the fender flares. It is rubbing against the leaf spring when I turn it hard enough. Anyone had this problem? Anyone fixed it? Thanks.

I just got 33s and I lost my turning radius because when it turns far enough it rubs against the flares. I've heard of people buying TJ flares but also I've heard that a few people cut there flares down. How hard to do is this, what did you use to cut it and how noticeable is it? Anyone have...

Ok, so, if the speedometer says I am going 64, how fast am I really going? I have a 91 YJ with 33s now. Anyone have a calulation to figure this out? Just want to know so if I see a cop I don't think that I'm safe just because my speedometer says I'm going under 65. I assume I'm going like 72-74...

Most of the time when you get to 33s you are going to need to re-gear depending on how big of tires you had on when it was stock. I'm not sure how much it will cost.

My body and shackle lift made my ride a lot nicer. It drives great. It seemeed like I lost the low end torque but I made up a lot in the way it drives. I can't explain it but it is much better.
