Need a warn winch for a 92 & 93 Wrangler. What model do I need? How about a M8000? Overkill??

This is why I joined the forum. I was told you could not buy soft uppers. $ wheel has them for $300.

I put a hard top on a 93 Wrangler and do not want to use full doors. What if I cut the upper soft door frame and round it to match the hard top tack weld and re-sew the skin. Anybody done this--will it work??:shock:

I'm ready to install a hardtop on a 93 YJ. I underestand they are holes already in the sides for 1x5/16 bolts and you just line up square up and bolt down. Are they holes in the windshield frame to screw the front down or do I drill holes??:???:

Just bought a hard top for the YJ and need to paint it. As it is fiberglass how do I clean it to make ready to paint??:shock:

I have a 92 & 93 YJ. Both have 5 speed I6 diive trains. Do they use the same transfer case fliids and if so what do I use?

92 Wrangler 6 cyl. My transfer case is leaking from the outside case cover where the rear driveshaft connects. Do I drop the driveshaft and pull the cover to replace the gasket? easy or hard job?

The bend in the transmission shifter is normally parallel to the drive train if I remember. The bend is now toward my leg. I do agree they installed a drop I just would not think the shift angle would change so much.

I had to make the choice between wheel spacers and new wheels. I went with new wheels. Just do not trust spacers. Did not want to risk a wheel coming of on a Houston freeway.

I wish I made these swaps some time ago. What an upgrade. I still forget I'm up about 5 inches higher than I was before so ever so often I fall out the door when I get out.
