    am I crazy?

I've found the sweet spot for highway to be around 2000rpms. That's where it stays coolest most consistantly. If I shift to 5th and run around 1500rpm it heats up so I stay in 4th. 3rd of course is a bad idea at 65 ha

    wagoneer leaf springs delima

If your just planning on doing trails at lower speeds like under 25 mph soa totaly fine and should perform a little better ( for the exception of axle wrap) than under axle. But for high speed desert everyone who is serious will run spring under

    wagoneer leaf springs delima

Spring under axle gives you a smoother more stable ride with less axle wrap.. if it were me IDE find some lift springs and put on shorter shackles. I don't know about the clearance for doing the flip but you need to make sure you get the pinion angle right and that your are a proficient welder...

Already decided against it.. I looked at it today and hadn't realized how small it was. As for the basics.. I rolled my old xj and have swapped my aluminum radiator over to it that I had bought less than a year ago. I pulled the pump while I had it all apart and the interior looked brand new...
