Doesn't quite make sense to me tho because the ring gear is bigger than the carrier and I would assume the carrier for a Dana 44 would be larger not smaller

The gears I have are 3.73.... But I think that number is 3.55

I checked into it some more and they both seem to be from a Dana 35 but different models? The ring gear measures 7.5 inches like it should and the locker is 27 spline like it should be. The problem is the carriers bolt pattern is 10 bolts but the ring gear is 8. So, can anyone help me on what's...

So I messed up. I bought a powertrax locker carrier and ring and pinion the other day on Craigslist and was in a rush so I neglected to make sure all the parts were right. The locker fits the carrier but the ring gear doesn't match up. So how can I tell what gears I have and what carrier/locker...

Okay so I found even more rusted out area on the inside of the frame rail... Basically follows the exhaust from the front all the way back to the back seat... Is the pan I'm a 97 Cherokee different from a 93? I have a 97 that's completely stripped and it'd be nice to just take it from that one

In 91 the switched from the gm columns to something different. Looking more at it it seems it doesn't quite fit right so I might get the correct column from a Cherokee and swap it to how it should be

So when I went to replace my ignition key cylander the new $60 one for a 93 is wrong. Turns out I have a pre 91 tilt column in my 93 Cherokee.. the sake one used in the old gm trucks... I'm wondering if some of the electrical connections are different and that's why they don't work

Long story short.. rolled my 97 xj swapped suspension to the cheap 93 after rebuilding the head replaceing clutch many sensors and an infinite amount of other random issues. It's gettin there tho. I don't think the previous owner was very handy at all... The old stereo had been wired in with 110...

Yeah the caution lights work pefectly fine. I'll get into it more tomorrow when o fix my steering column and replace my key cylander... Both are in pretty bad shape. I've fixed almost every last thing on this jeep the past few months but I guess I should expect it for 750 bucks

Yeah all else is good.. I was messing around with my brother and hit the horn and it sounded for a split second.. I pulled the steering wheel apart and the contacts were fine.. not sure what's going on

Cat could be an issue.. just had it smogged and numbers say cars going bad. Also pretty sure it runs lean because my nox were high which is often a result of lean mixture and high compression which I foxes when I rebuilt the bar and removed a crap load of carbon buildup. All sensors are fine and...

On a side note, my first Jeep (1980 cj5) had a stop sign that the previous own had riveted in to cover the rust holes in the floor. See that's the fix I'm looking for :) time to go defaced public property !
