I would get the exact codes from the tech and before I authorize any PCM repair but I would also get a second opinion. PCM's rarely go out so if you do have them do it make sure you get a GUARANTEE that it will fix the problem because they can't send back the PCM if it doesnt fix the problem...

Because your RPMS are going to be way high and your gas mileage will be way low.

Yes the 4.88 gears will effect your speedo and your freeway RPMS alot. I would wait until after your road trip to drop those puppies in.

Just a note about your carb.. I jave a 82 Cj7 with the stock BBD on it and have already had to pull the idle tubes out twice in 9 months to clean them because it would soundlike it was misfirring at idle. I understand this is a common issue with these.

I agree with the previous 2 posts and would like to add that I would stay away from the brand raybestos they can be hard to keep from squeeling. Also Performance Friction are very hard and although they stop well they tend to wear down rotors and drums faster.

Are they talking about the rollover valve? I'm still learning about Jeeps but Isn't there on tucked up underneath by the gas tank?
