Dodge to Jeep Power steering box upgrade????

That is what he meant by "it will tell you what other years that particular part number will fit on." If it shows other years, you would be able to widen the availability from just a 98 if you were to go to a salvage yard.

Will 1983 CJ-7 hardtop and hard doors fit on my 1995 yj?

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the doors are different. One has more of a square corner at the upper aft end of the door and the other has a rounded corner. Check the aftermarket websites and see what products fit which year.

    Hard door's!!! Help

My driver side door had the crack below the wing window and the glass frame flexed causing a really annoying squeak. So I just took my trusty wire feed welder and welded them together. I just rattle canned the welds with primer and they don't look that bad. Ya can't see it from the outside...

    Hard top and doors needed

That's too bad. I would have thought one of those places would have something. There are a couple of places that would have one but one is in California and the other is in Ohio, so the shipping would be kinda high.

    glove box help

If I remember correct, there are four nuts or screws (can't remember which) that you still need to remove. Two are on the left side and two are on the right side of the glove box. They are a real pain to get out. You have to reach in from behind with a 1/4 drive ratchet & socket.

    No Brake Lights

Run a jumper wire from a known power source to the brake light switch and see what happens when you actuate the switch. If it works, then you know that you have a power issue and that you need to trace the wiring from the switch back to the normal power source.

    day time running lights

It should be on the right hand (passenger) inner fender, close to where the heater fan motor is. Wiring diagram shows a 18ga wire with a black with a tan tracer going to the daylight running module. Hope this helps ya

Sounds like yours was made for use in Canada. I'll check my 95 manual later tonight and see if it gives a location. My FSM covers YJ's & XJ's.

Best way to clean the intake manifold?

It needs to be as clean as you can get it. Look inside with a flash light and see if you have anything in there. If it looks bad, you can take it down to an engine or radiator shop and have them hot tank it.

    pilot bearing help!!!

According to the the 1995 YJ FSM, you should have a roller bearing. Is this what you have? It shows that there are two different bearings. One for the four cylinder and one for the six cylinder. It could be different from and 94 to a 95. It would be best if you check with the local...
