2015 Wrangler passenger door latch issues

You need to remove the door panel to look/feel the connections. That should reveal the issue.

    Cheapish paint options

As you know that will temporarily bring back the shine. If/when you get ready to paint you'll need to scrub it off before sanding.

    Cheapish paint options

I've painted a few vehicles for my sons and grandson with equipment enamel [and hardener]. It will fade some if left out in the weather although my grandson's Honda still looks great 1 yr later. His car is parked under carport when not being driven.

I bought a Grand Cherokee... I had to

The oil gauge should always be the first suspect. I was ready to change the oil pump on a cherokee I used to have when I noticed it had the same low oil pressure when the engine was shut off.

    Crazy morning

Because of Covid the IRS extended the deadline one month to 5/15/21 I filed ours a few weeks ago, no refund because we are retired but at least we didn't owe.

    Help help help

Wiring issues like that can be a bear to find. Yrs ago my truck had a short in the wiring harness that took me a month to find, every time I put the tester on it the probe completed the circuit. Glad you got yours figured out!

    Oil type & weight

IMO the only reason to increase the oil viscosity from the factory specs is when the engine is old and tired. Even then I'd only bump it up one notch.

    gas cap warning

Over the last couple of months I've gotten code PO456 and a gascap warning on the dash a couple of times so I replaced the gas cap a week ago. About a 1/2 mile from the house gascap came across the dash. I pulled over and double checked to make sure the cap was tight. The gascap message...

    JK burning smell

On other vehicles I owned it showed up either by uneven brake pad wear or pulling to one side while breaking. A jk is less likely to pull to one side because the brakes aren't tied side to side but rather one front and the opposing rear. Before pad wear was great enough to notice I noticed the...

94 YJ pulling left when accelerating

The first thing I'd do would be to jack up the front and inspect/tug on all the steering and suspension parts.

    JK burning smell

maybe something that got on the rotors or exhaust ?? 3 of the calipers on my 2010 jk died around the 60k mark [over a 6 month period] but the smell they emitted was closer to a clutch smell than rubber. You could feel the heat on the rim.

    Why can’t I find any 2021 Wrangler 2-doors?

The 4 door unlimited does seem to be more popular, I agree it's probably supply and demand. I can't imagine them discontinuing the 2 door model. Have you inquired about special ordering one?

    The OFFICIAL Random thread

I hate it when my headlights freeze up and I can't go anywhere until it warms up and they thaw out  If both blinkers had froze up you'd only be able to go straight lol Our local auto parts store had a run on blinker fluid. All they got left are muffler bearings :D

TPMS sensors replaced, light still on

Have you double checked the tire pressure? As JPN noted above you may need to add a little extra psi.

TPMS sensors replaced, light still on

On my 2010 jk the light will come on if any tire's pressure falls below 33psi. As far as I know this does not include my full size spare.

2005 Grand Cherokee Hard to fill fuel tank

maybe try a try a new gas cap. I've had a few vehicles that you needed to pump gas in a little slower to avoid tripping.

If they are stock rims - check your local junkyard. Some aftermarket rims have info stamped on the backside of the rim.
