i took it for it's 1st real jeep trail drive yesterday. about 3 miles up it was squirting oil all over. so i stopped and took a peek. the line that runs from the block to the oil pressure gauge had broken. i stuck a screw in it and j.b. welded it on there and drove it home. kinda anticlimactic...

i use a stick to see how much gas i have.....

i got a meyers 1/2 cab for it and yesterday installed the side mount spare tire carrier. the meyers was sooo cheap that i couldnt pass it up. glass was so expensive for the full top that i gave up on it and i had to do something because winter is coming soon. i am NEVER working on this thing in...

i have an old jeep and i had the same slop problen. i replaced the pitman arm/bellcrank/tie rods/drag link. it drives like new. but i will install a stabilizer so that when wheeling i wont break a thumb when hitting a rock.

well i got a quote of around $400 to have glass installed in my koenig top. then i found a meyers 1/2 cab for it for $200 delivered that is only missing one piece of glass. i am getting the meyers , fixing it up and running with it. i like the idea of the 1/2 cab because it is less space to heat...

update i took apart the oil bath air cleaner and found this incoherent mess. whoever did this didnt have the foggiest idea of WTF he was doing. but i found an unmolested one. installed it and replaced the hoses the P.O. had cut or incorrectly installed. the slug has never run better!
