It sounds like a good deal ,just keep in mind that car-fax is not 100% it only tells you if some put a claim against that Vin# and when it was registered to who I work for a dealer my self and have seen things not on the fax not to say that this is your case, but it is not 100%

I 1st removed them used a green scrubby to ruff it up than wiped them down with alcohol and painted them with satin black krylon fusion.
