It would be fun to do a refurb project on it. It's not something I'm in a position to take on, but I'm sure someone will.

I've found that almost all CJs, YJxs, and TJs wave and many XJs. Very few of the other model drivers seem to have a clue...at least around here. Northern Illinois isn't known as an off road haven, so that mindset probably isn't as ingrained as a more rugged location. Most of the 4x4s are for...

Yeah, I was thinkin' that was rather high. I just bought the 98 TJ for less than that...and mine has a top! But mine's not a "classic antique" either. I could use those wheels though.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll ask this here. Is there any easy way to put intermittent wiper controls on a TJ? Mine just has off, low and high, plus you pull it back to spray washer fluid. Kind of a pain when it's just drizzling.

I'd heard there was a yellow Jeep for sale without a top. So I took a Sunday morning ride to see for myself. :shades: Sure enough, it was yellow CJ 5, had no top and had a V8. I sure would have liked to hear it run, with those headers and all. Had to get to my Mom's...Mother's Day ya know...
