wow. I lost slightly more faith in our society. I can understand how that can be taken negative but if I were told a question I'd asked were "common sense" I'd be motivated to learn more about it instead of being upset.

sounds like it could be an exhaust leak but I can't possible imagine why that would be happening after changing spark plugs. also was the pop you heard something like a backfire pop or something breaking pop?

that 4x4 was lame. 60000 for that when you can get a SVT raptor for 20000 less and get about the same performance. and the race looked completely staged to bring in more drama. the airboat was kinda cool though. never seen a supercharged motor on an airboat before.

our cj7 did something similar. driving down the road, it would stutter then stall suddenly. after about 15 minutes it would start again. problem ended up being a poor connection on the distributor along with the wire overheating because it sat too close to the motor. maybe check that?

my grandfather has a newer GC with the 5.7 hemi and it's a strong strong motor. as far as bullet proof I couldn't tell ya. his is a daily driver. the only thing I can tell ya is if you want decent gas mileage don't get the hemi. it's terrible on gas but that's to be expected.

be careful with the donut. if it's not seated properly you'll crush it without knowing and still end up with an exhaust leak. personally if you can stand the fumes, noise, and if your rig runs properly with the exhaust leak I'd leave it until you can replace the exhaust. we did that on our CJ...

the wobble shouldn't be coming from the ring. that's gunna be front end suspension I'd say. I'd replace the ring and pinion ASAP though if it's missing teeth.

I'm still not sure why they made this deal. numbers show that Americans still don't care about MPG if gas prices are high. last year alone ford sold more f150s than all hybrids combined. that number may be skewed by fleet car sales and stuff but still. let us have our toys and if we want to buy...
