Jeep wants to begin production in China

I agree with terry. china is the largest market for anything. it would be down right stupid not to try to tap into that market. as long as they produce vehicles in America for America it's cool.

    Extreme Mudding

that's about the only jeeping I do on my own. I find it much more fun to hit a lake bed and tear through some mud than trail ride. sure it's messy and yea its very expensive but you can't take them with you when you die so why not enjoy it now?!

Your Jeep knowledge - self taught or formal training?

I'm taught solely from my pops. I know a lot about drive trains but not much about suspension, body work, etc. my first car though (86 bronco) I built the motor and wired the entire car custom. been working on cars ever since.

    How hot is too hot?

we had a 360 too and it ran at about 200 constantly. living in Florida under that hot summer sun would bake that engine bay and we would even run it at 210 some days around town. you should be fine.

    07 JK Rubi locker problem

my bad. I misread the post. silly iPhone reading. worst case scenario put a shrink wrap over one end and solder the wires together for a temp fix. then wrap the shrink wrap. at least at that point you can determine if the wire is the problem

    07 JK Rubi locker problem

do you push a button to lock the diff? if so I'd say that the wire in question controls that and is shorting out on something and that's why you keep randomly locking up. I may be completely wrong though.

    Stalling out

I would recommend checking the idle screw on it. sounds like it could be the engine speed dropping too low on idle.
