    Help! Name this busted part...

I think that is the sprint that holds the clutch pedal back. I have an 83 CJ7 and there is a spring that is mounted to the clutch pedal and goes to a bracket that is close to the dash. It sounds like it matches the description you give.

    Help with Hi-Lift jack

Chock the opposite end and if you are lifting the back, put it in 4WD and lock the hubs. I do not have a factory jack in my CJ and therefore my Hi-lift is my only jack. Because of this, I carry one jack stand in the back in case I need to change a tire. I can jack up the tire, put the jack...

Isnt jeep concern but i want to get my opinion out!

I say do whatever makes you happy. If they want to trick out their Honda, then fine. It's not my cup of tea, but that's fine. When I was younger I had a hot rod. A 1978 Camaro that ran 12.70 in the quarter mile (not a guess, but I ran that at Houston Raceway Park on numerous occasions). My...

    New Carb Shopping

From what I understand both the two barrel holley and the two barrel webber require adapter plates to bolt to the intake. I am planning on installing a Holley 350cfm. That is the carb that my uncle used on his 4.2 and he loved it. The Holley is very tuneable (if that is a word). From what he...

    83 CJ AC blower motor.

low oil pressure Thanks for the help guys. I got it installed on Saturday and it will blow dry my knee hair in seconds! I was a little concerned about the wiring since it had six wires coming out and there were even two reds and two yellows (I think). The shop that I bought it from installs...

Tug, Go get it! Look at it this way....he borrowed in for a month or so, fixed up the front end a little, and then gave you $1000 just for letting him drive it around!

    83 CJ AC blower motor.

Stupid, stupid, stupid problem... I understand most of your opinions about AC in a Jeep, but you have to remember I live in Houston....and we have a good three months where the temps are between 93 and 103 with humidity in the 80%+ range. You can walk outside and stand perfectly still in the...

    83 CJ AC blower motor.

BakedAlaskan, How many wires are coming out of the back of one of those 76 Blazer blower motors? And is this for the under dash AC unit?

    83 CJ AC blower motor.

The blower motor on my AC went out yesterday. I am wondering if any of you have a good source for these types of blower motors. I cannot find one at that local parts store that matches. This thing has six wires coming out of it. The one at the parts store only had two.

    new gun

I did not keep the hide but would like to do a deer hide next year if I can. I kept a large portion of that cape for the mount that I had done. As far as aging the buck I have always been told that the antlers are the least of what you need to look at to age a deer. I have seen some monster...

    new gun

DIGITAL GAUGES I did use the teeth to age that buck. My 5 1/2 guess was field judging by the size of his neck/shoulders, the sway in his back, and the sagging of his stomach. It was after looking at his lower jaw that he was aged at 4 1/2.

Where to go wheelin and why is it called that.

Muddin' usually refers to finding a mud hole and plowing through it. Wheelin' covers all types of driving in a 4WD vehicle.....trails....hill climbs....rock crawling....mud holes....etc. At least that's the way that I see it. And I'll second the tip on finding a 4WD club and seeing where you...
