if it's a yj or tj, there should be 2 wing nuts holding an arm down, that holds down the jack.

alright i looked tonite and it seems there are 2 little hoses...i removed the one connected inside the box, so that flap won't open do i remove the other small hose on the outside of the box? or is that what keeps pressure...

thank you for the help, i kinda need things spelled out sometimes... where is he "little hose" you speak of?

other than the hose being messed up, the part on the engine is rusted off, like the piece was still in the hose and it just broke flush...i want to replace that part on my engine

it's a 4cyl, if i leave that hose loose it's just going to suck in water, isn't it?...i wanted to make my own snorkle and i've been looking at alot of posts for it...how much would it cost to replace that piece on my engine or what can i do to fix my problem.

i have an 89 yj, so there is going to be some rust, but in the engine, there is a hose comming off the bottom of the filter box that looks like it is supposed to go into my engine, but it is rusted off, i'm wondering what the hell that hose is for and what piece is it that rusted off, i think...

if you intend on off roading later, add more than just 2"...so that way you have clearance and also have something to work with, cause down the road if you decide you want monster bigger tires, you can just add a couple of things and fit 35's if thats what pleases you...i went straight to 4", i...

the front on my yj took me and 3 other friends to put on, 14 hours, so start early, the back went on in 5 hours...so good luck, and don't forget the PB blasta!!
