My first thought, after all the new parts, is that you have air in your system. I usually leave the radiator cap off and let it run a while, till it warms up good, to get the air out, but I have heard that it will work it's way out after a few cycles of warming up and cooling down.
The next...
There is a whole slew of info we need to figure that one out.
Year, model, type of motor, trans, front axle, what is history of jeep, what have you tried,
How do you know it is not working?
My transfer shifter (NP 242) has a lot of slop in it. When I first got it, it would not go into 4-lo. I adjusted the shifter where it would go into 4-lo, but then it would not shift into 2-hi.The shifter linkage seemed tight (no slop). I ground down part of the shifter mount to give it a little...
Lower the oil level to the correct level. Pull the spark plugs out and crank engine over, This will expell any oil that may have made it's way on top of the pistons. Carefull though, if there is any oil in there it will blow everywhere with great force. (maybe lay a rag over that side of the...
Relay, dirty connection, blown fuse, blown bulbs, burnt wires, burnt connection, loose wire, bad ground, broken wire, bad switch, dead battery, ignition switch not in the on/acc position. Should be one of those.
The sleeve should fit pretty tight into the plastic opening/adapter.
The sleeve will slide in from the front of the opening (like pushing it into the dash). There is a lip on the front of the sleeve that will catch and keep the sleeve from sliding all the way through the adapter.
At this...
Sort of. There should be a metal "cage" around the head unit, near the front. Slide the hu out of the cage, (the cage slides toward the back of the hu) and mount the cage (the tabs are on the cage). Slide the hu back into the cage.
The blue one is the amplifier remote (if you have one). Not sure about the other ones. Color codes are super easy to find on the web. I would grab one for you, but the pc at work is very restrictive.
That is usually where the rear spring hanger starts to rust from. Check and make sure it has not effected the spring hanger, (from under the jeep). If it has, the spring hanger will have to be replaced or a new one made.
As for the floor, clean it up with a wire wheel/ brush, lay your new metal...
It is better to weld than rivet, BUT, what kind of holes are we talking about? Pin holes or can you throw a cat through them? Is it structural or not?
Pics would be best. Most of us can't read.
Now you know this is going to come down to a personal preference decision, but, since you came to a jeep forum to ask this question......Of course you should trade for the jeep.
Seriously....which one suites your needs better? Do you need a truck to haul stuff?
