Sounds like a ground thing to me. When weird stuff happens, and especially in different places at once, it's normally a ground. Start at your battery, then you engine block, then the firewall, grill, tub, and so on cleaning the grounds as you go. If you find an especially loose or corroded...

I've always wanted to work a propane conversion into a carb. From what I've heard, the carb. end of the set-up is only a couple of bills. + tank, lines, and such. Propane has NO stall on inclines. It might be worth looking into.

I've ran a couple of Ramsey's and have been happy with them. I've loaded them up pretty hard, many times, and they keep going. I don't have much personal experiance with other brands though. Warn seems to be the standard for being "the shizzel".
