    Rock Sliders / Steps

:agree: I would have those kind of nerf bars on my Jeep if I were running 42-44 inch tires they offer great protection!

    !*&$#$@ Fender Flares

Glad to hear the fusion paint worked out for you, it's been a year since I have painted mine and they still look good except for some minor chipping and some scrapes from wheeling. And all I have to do is prep them a little and re-paint them again!

    X vs Rubicon?

Go for the Rubicon! It will hold up it's value (as all Jeeps do) and you will save money in the long or short run. I don't have a Rubicon--wish I did though:?| If you can afford it, I just don't see how you can go wrong with buying a Rubicon over a X model.

Question for you law enforcement members...

Anything that sounds too good to be true---usually is too good to be true! When you go to court you will have to plead innocent or guilty----plead guilty then you pay fine and it goes on your record etc. etc.----plead innocent then they set up another court date---maybe just maybe the policeman...

    Tires...Need your opinions

I have Timberline 32x11:50-15's and love them, but if I had it to do over again I would by the Firestone Destination MT's I like the way they look and have heard very good things about them.

    !*&$#$@ Fender Flares

Yes that is what I mean, clean them up before you paint them. You have to get all the wax and oil off flairs before you spray them or the paint will "fish eye" Be sure and mask off the Jeep body so you don't get over spray on it.

    !*&$#$@ Fender Flares

I don't know if this is the way you may wanna go, but I'M really happy with painting my flairs with Krylon Fusion paint. It's made for plastic and it's held up for over a year now, and I think it looks great, and if they start to get chipped up all you have to do is repaint or touch them up...

    New Idle Problem

I'm still pretty new to Jeeps myself, but it wouldn't hurt to change the plugs, since it was running rich anyways. Plugs can get gas soaked and look good but won't fire right, besides plugs don't cost that much and it's a good start to finding the problem.

    Shift light.

If it's still under warranty get it fixed, you never know what other problems it could be involving with it not working right! I have little patience, The shift light on a car I had years ago sure helped my wife learn how to drive a standard:D

Just back from Iraq, and lookin to put some mone into my Jeep.\

Sell the Jeep you have and get a good price and then buy a good used Rubicon---with all the upgrades already done---or buy somebody's project that they have already lost interest in, (and already invested lots of money in) You will be way ahead! Sit down with a good Jeep catalog and start...
