    LED headlights???

Where does the York idler pulley attach to? actually i believe it has more to do with what the diode is doped with. its nothing to do with dyeing the case of the led. if it was there would have been diffrent colors long ago. the blue led's are fairly new. it was a big deal when someone finally...

    Computer not Jeep problem

i had a tool bar come up. you could turn it off and remove it from the controll panel, but everytime you reopened internet explorer it would come back up. had to find the file that it had hidden it's self in and delete that after removing everything again.

    Stereo Reccomendation

pretty much any aftermarket speakers will work fine. they don't make many with the paper surrounds. what ever the output is for the radio make sure the speakers can handle the power. even the cheap walmart speakers will work fine. i have some sony explode 6x9's that came with the jeep mounted...

    Anybody used Pace Setter Headers?

i painted mine with ceramic paint, so i didn't run into that. i have no idea what the number is. i got it out of 4wheeldrive hardware. personally i'm going to go with something else when i replace them (they go crushed in an accident). the intake is for a 4 barrel carb. save up a bit and get...

    PCV hoses

you need a breather filter on one of the openings on the valve cover. the other should have the pcv valve in there and one hose going to vacuum. there should only be one place to connect a hose on the pcv valve. the guy probably got the wrong one and didn't know it and replaced a bunch of hoses...

    CB Radio.... engine noise?

    Anybody used Pace Setter Headers?

i've got 'em in my 89 yj. i don't care for the design much. they go under the oil pan. you have to loosen/remove them if you need to do work under there. if they went back a little further they'd be fine. installing them i had to jack up the jeep and put a stout rod under the back corner or the...

    Stereo Reccomendation

Anybody used Pace Setter Headers? really? i've never had a problem with my sony, other than i had my doors off during a bad storm and wasn't allowed to go home (less than 2 1/2 min. away) to put the doors on. it doesn't play cd's any more, and the face flips up and displays stuff occasionally...

    Stereo Reccomendation

i was looking into getting a marine radio a while back hopeing it would be water proof, but most look like they just have white plastic trim instead of black or grey. same ones for auto use. what do you want out of the radio? satalite capable? able to play mp3's? able to read burned cd's (most...

    CB Radio.... engine noise?

where is it wired from? usually wireing to the battery helps reduce most noise. you can still end up picking up noise from the fuel pump in vehicles with electric pumps. the best thing to do if you don't want wire directly to the battery or already have and are still getting noise, is to go to...

    Rebuild vs. Remanned

i guess where it's FI you don't reall have to worry about the backfireing as much as a carb. so the pcv valve isn't really necessary. thanks derek

    question on wiring reverse lights

Moab Pictures i was going to try and figure out how to post a drawing of this, but i'll write it instead. hopefully i can write it so you can follow it. this is so you can still have the stock reverse lights with aftermarket as well. you need a tripple pole tripple throw switch. i was...

    Rebuild vs. Remanned

i actually wasn't aware that the 4.0's don't have a pcv valve ( only dealt with the 4.2's ). how does that work? i can't see how. if you backfire you're going to pressurize the case.

    Opinions on body lift

the body lift won't affect driveline angles. the transmission and t-case are on the skidplate which is mounted to the botom of the frame rails. with a body lift over 2" i think you start haveing to worry about having enough length in wires and maybe brake and fuel lines. personally i don't...

    Pain in the As$ D44

they are freakin tools at auto zone. granted it is convienent and cheap (sometimes), but i don't think the ability to work on/ understand anything about cars is a requirement. i don't think reading or the ability to understand what people are saying while being spoken to are a requirement either.
