I drive a 92 jeep wrangler with a 2.5. Long story short alternator bad got a new one got a new battery at the same time old one was bad outdated etc My problem is I'm having the same problem as b4 which is the alternator isn't charging my battery and everything is just running off my battery...

what r u doing with the six and transmission your taking out?

i think it might also be a u-joint maybe...? how do i check that? just go under there and see if i can move it by hand?

sorry if i lured you in with the title but im just curious if anyone can answer why doesnt my suspension flex very well. what i mean is i see pictures and videos of jeepers with the suspention at crazy angles. like the pic right here.--> is it just a yj thing that they dont flex very well. did...

i dont know what struts you are referring to.

its not the engine. i've turned off the engine and just coasted down hill. im leaning towards it being the brakes.. the noise seems to get louder when im slowing down(braking) i'll check it out 2morrow and post again

it happens all the time. i cant hear it when im driving cause my exhaust is so loud but when m in neuch i can hear it and it seems to get worse when i brake. i tried adjusting the brakes by throwing it in reverse picking up speed then slamming on he brakes but they dont stop these 33s very well

get some Falken wildpeak tires, just got a pair myself. check them out. and not extremely expensive got a set of 4 for $550

i recently installed a RC 4" lift on my 92 yj and i've noticed that i have a clunking noise when i drive. the noise seems to be coming from my suspension in the front. i also put 33x12x15 falken wildpeak tires... could they b too big and have worn down something to do with this. advice please...

took them off for the lift. new $100 ea. will sell for all 4 for $100

no one has any advice 4 me!? i went back lifted up and loosened all the nuts and bolt on the front suspention tried shaking it around, hittin the front shackle with a hammer gettin it aligned with the other one tightened it all bac together droped it down and it went back to being un-even help....

i installed rough country's 4" leaf spring lift on my 92 yj about a month ago and just recently noticed that the front shackles dont exactly line up if u get down and look at then from the side. its causing one side to have less lift then the other. (only by half an inch or so) but i want it...

i meant to put m62 not m90... can i put an eaton m62 on my 2.5? i kno i could engine swap for the same price as supercharging etc... but im just looking into it

just put the lift on... have no money, it needs everything else done to it. whats close to free i can do with my jeep besides wheeling(<gas)

i dont understand how urs was raised higher. i just lifted mine (4" yj rough country) and my shifter sits lower and back since i did the transfercase drop. anyone kno how to fix this? do i have to get like extended linkage or something. because when shifting into 2, 4, or R i hit my center...

ok will do. but u'll have to wait till fri. im away from my baby for a few days. they help a lil. 2-3 mpg here and there. depends what u do. idk what goes on when re-gearing. im interested in it too
