Thanks SteelHeadz. I unplugged the d/time module and good to go. Must of fused itself internally after 18 years of use.

Thanks for your help. I'll unplug the harness from the module and see what happens. Hopefully it will be just that.

Normally daytime running lights are on.The other day the hdlights came on with my switch in the off position.I replaced high/low switch and on/off rocker switch and when I hook battery up the lights are on still.Tried wiggling harness,but does nothing.Is there a relay somewhere?thks..:evil:

I have a 91 YJ and it started leaking at the sending unit gasket. Chrysler actually had a recall on this as well as the e-brake assembly. When I went to Chrysler to get a seal I found out that my jeep hadn't been brought in on any recalls by former owner so I left it and got it all fixed for...

Its fuel injected as it was the first year. It runs strong and never lets me down,so I guess its o k.thks..

check to make sure the pcv is clean and clear.may build up to much crankcase pressure under heavy use.mine was plugged with a bit of carbon and kept blowing valve cover gasket.good luck....

Do all 4.0 litre rev up to about 1500 rpm on start up when cold or hot? Mine does and then drops down to about 900 rpm after a few seconds.I change all the sensors and its the same.Is this normal?thks........

my 91 yj 4.0 litre started running hot years ago and decided to do the big 3. replaced t/stat,water pump and rad.perfect ever since.

I use 10w30 Quakerstate year round.Temperatures vary from -7 to 28 celcius here in Beautiful B.C.

you are correct.switch is separte from rod.if you look at both swithes,the rod on the non tilt fits closer to front of switch where as opposite on tilt.no camera but maybe neighbour has.thks.

Bumper painting powder coating i think would be worth the extra $$$. No touch up needed. Good hunting....

I bought a tilt column from a 93 yj to put in my 91 yj. Both columns are for manual trans, but the 93 won't plug into my ign harness.all others plug in fine. My current column is non tilt and the switch won't swap because of the rod length. Help anyone???? Thks..

A/t tires i run bfg 31x10.50's on my 91 yj and there great in everything and there quiet. Not really aggressive looking but works for my needs. Good luck!!!
