Do throttle body spacers really work?

I strongly beleive TB spacers do work, the old style with the screw design only works at slow speeds and is good for torque only. Smooth bore is better flow smooth air transitions and increase performance all around. If you are interested we carry some that will outperform the competition. If...

    2.5L performance?

Sounds good I will put it on my wish list for after christmas. Yes you are right on the bottom of the 2.5L, it is 51mm. O yeah where would I go when I am ready to purchase.

    2.5L performance?

Let me save a few more dollars, money seems hard to come by these days. How much are we looking at? O yeah what are the stock bore sizes top side and bottom, I forget?

    2.5L performance?

Thanks I will try the PD wires, By the way Mr Bounty Hunter do you carry any regular 4.0L TB. I currently run a home brewed TB that is 61mm on top and 51mm on the bottom side, it sits on top of a spacer that is 60mm on top and 55mm on bottom. My manifold is bored out to 56mm. Seems to work...

    2.5L performance?

Sound good I will probably get the live wires, and continue running it with the accel coil. I just do not know how big a gap to run without going over board.

    2.5L performance?

Here is a question, which coil is better the accel or the screaming demon. I currently run a accel coil and wires with NGK plugs gapped at .037. What is the biggest gap I can run, or somewhere in between? What is your opinion on Live wires which are said to be 10mm with a low ohm resistance.

What year and model ford electric fan is suitable for a 97 jeep wrangler. Would I get it at a junk yard? And how hard is it to install.

    2.5 Performance

Sounds good, I do have many mods except any gear change, still running factory 4.10. I do have cold air intake, bored out TB, TB spacer, accel coil and wires along with NGK plugs, and also a catback. She runs pretty good now no complants. O yeah I was getting hesitation and bucking due to a...

    2.5 Performance

Would I feel any difference at highway speeds due to less drag, as it is my jeep now can do 75mph with no problem, but a head wind or a up hill grade it will come down to 60 to 65 mph. What about doing a flex fan. I know this I am the guy that can feel 1 HP difference on my jeep, so if electric...

    2.5 Performance

Does a eletric fan really work to free up HP, I was thinking of getting one for my 97 4 Banger then I also heard it could rob HP by using up more amp draw. So whats true?

GSP POWER SPACERS, Real Power Booster

Horse power gains vary from 5 to 8 and torque gains from 10 to 14, as far as MPG you can get up to 3 mpg increase depending on driving habits. Ofcourse all these numbers depend on engine mods such as cold air intake, tire size, gear ratios, catbacks etc. We do suggest to use a K&N filter for...

GSP POWER SPACERS, Real Power Booster

GSP POWER SPACERS, Extreme Power Booster for TJs & JKs We carry throttle body spacers thatoutperforms the competition. Finally one the really makes a big difference you can feel. Enhanced horse power, torque and increase MPG. Our spacers have a smooth bore for smooth air transitions for smooth...

    2.5L performance?

Thanks allot for all that info and input guys, just goes to show you how some things work for others and not for someone else. My concern as far as a 62mm TB would be will I loose torque and would it match the top of my manifold?

    2.5L performance?

To JFRABAT as far as the Power spacer i have from gsppowerspacers has no air flow restriction, it has air blades that redirects the air flow, its called air wave tuning. They use air wave tuning in designing intake manifolds, direction, lenth, diameter size and smooth curves or sharp curves...

    2.5L performance?

Question for JFRABAT, actually my jeep for some reason cools down alot faster with that factory fan trimmed down a bit, even in traffic on a hot day the gauge does not even hit the mid point. My question is did you gain any ponys from electric fan?, and what is your take on a flex fan?. My...

    2.5L performance?

O guess what I did the other day, sense i can not afford a electric fan right now and also been debating between electric or flex. I took a pair of tin snips and little by little cut down my factory fan. Very carefully sniped of the corners of each blade, about half inch measured both ways from...

    2.5L performance?

O yeah on my lil 4 banger along with all my other mods, I am going to try to relocate the IAT sensor (Intake air Temp) . I will keep my stock one in place and purchase another and extend the wires so I can place the sensor inside my air filter intake box. This will then pickup ambeint colder...

    throttle spacer??

If yours is a 3 bolt pattern they do make one for a 86 to 1990 but i believe it would be special order and can be a lil costly at about $130. A freind of mine in new mexico has one and he really likes it.
