MSCONFIG sucks! Let the dang computer boot up.....open the programs you're not using, one at a time, and change the freaking properties so that it doesn't start everytime you start your computer! MSCONFIG may be a great tool, but for Joe User it's not necessary. What the heck do I know...

Just FYI - I have mine on my windshield just like the yellow TJ and the glare from the hood at night is annoying as h3ll! I'd have mounted mine on the bumper if I were doing it over.

I've watched the guys replace the windshield in my Jeep and another truck I had, and I would not attempt on my own. Biggest reason I can think of is the "Ohh Sh*t" factor when you're about to drop the glass and be faced with buying yet another windshield.

I think the hardware they are speaking of is the 4 (2 per side) pieces that secure the top to the roll bar. When I sold my top I took those off and sold them with it. I would think any seller on CL or Ebay would/should do the same thing if they aren't planning to use a soft top anymore.

I wouldn't mount the rings on that bumper at the point where those rubber bumpers are. You're better off getting the tow hook that was a stock option on the TJ. If you do mount d-rings make sure they are secured to the frame. Both the front and back bumper on the TJ are very weak and would...
