I'm thinking its the injectors or fuel lines somewhere in there. I guess the fuel gauge sender was sticking again and we didn't know it was about to run out, so I think its probably sucking up all the crap in the tank. I'm going to try running some seafoam through the gas and then filling it...

Hey everybody. Recently the jeep has been stalling alot, but other times it runs. We got it about a two months ago running perfectly, changed oil and spark plugs and was running great. Just the other day though it stalled pulling out of the driveway, but then drove fine (in the neighborhood)...

went to bleed the brakes today. The bleeder screws are rusted in there and I ended up breaking off part of the nipple. I emptied the master cylinder before that and I tried just filling it up with new fluid and it feels the same...:(

yea I figured. I knew it had different tires but not different sizes. The jeep isn't going to be driven that much, shes going to save up and get some new tires :) thanks for the replies :D

it came with a 235 on one side and 225 on the other and as far as I can tell theres no rubbing. There is a 'popping' noise on the passenger side when we turn the wheel past a certain point, maybe its hitting?

bled the cooling system, really easy to do, it took alot of distilled to fill it back up after opening that screw. Hopefully that helps out alot. Also pulled up the rear carpet and it wasn't pretty, there were actual holes through the rusted metal in a few places. How would one go about...

thanks it really is in great shape, especially for 20 years old. she knew what she was talking about when she said jeeps were built to last (an old white jeep cherokee has been her dream car for years) and for 1200 i think it was a steal even with the small projects :)

Thanks for the comments. I've heard alot about how great these cars are, and even more about how strong the engine is (cooling seems to be a PITA so far though). This is just my girlfriends first car, so if it even lasts us a few years it'll be well worth it, even if it needs some stuff...
