    mines a 89 yj 4.2 manual, not sure what all changed between 89 and 90, but beside the battery on the firewall there is 4x4 indicator gauge, make sure the vacuum line from the transfer case is attached to it

    i've got left and right fenders a hood and front and rear factory leaf springs, all in very used condition try to post pics later. look up fireman32 89 yj in jeep build and you can see some of the parts. make me an offer not sure what shipping would be, but im in s. georgia.

    talked to my friend he told me it could be a broken transmission mount or the bushings around the gear shift could be worn. he said it didn't sound like air would be the problem. still havent had time to look mine over.

    i have the same problem, 89 yj 6 cylinder, Mine started when i put bigger tires and cut the emergency brake cable. almost like the brakes are holding it sometimes. however i still have original clutch one of my bosses brothers owns a transmission shop i'll get with him and try to figure it out...

    carry your jeep to an alignment shop you trust! The tech there can tell you what part is bent by setting it up on the alignment machine. i can tell you from experience just b/c it doesn't look bent doesn't mean it's not hopefully it will only be a tie rod end not to expensive

    let me check on that style, i believe the cj7 only came with lap belts, my yj has the shoulder strap. im not sure if the mounting locations are the same. i will check as soon as i can thanks for the reply
