thanks for the help yall. i got it fixed today i bought a 20' roll of brake line and just bent all new lines. it was the one on the passenger side and the stores didnt have one that long. got new ends and put em on there also. ended up doing just a single flare but its not leaking and works...

my buddy has a 81 cj7 with a 4 cylinder and he has a early 90s 4.3 v6 chevy motor he wants to put in it. will the transmission bolt up? anybody got any tips?

damn yall got me thinkin i got took. maybe it is too good to be true. how do i check the wear?i guess i just pull out the distributor and look at the gear but i dont know what the pattern is supposed to be. could you change out the gear if it is bad?

my metal brakeline on the front broke off right at the connector. do yall know if i can flare the end of it and put it back on or do i have to buy a new line?

man if you can tell me how to link something i will, im not too good with computors. on ebay i searched 258 i6 hei distributor and it was on there. 64 bucks shipped to the door with a lifetime warranty.

i just put a hei distributor from smithperformance on my yj and damn what a difference! runs smoother, drives better, and better gas mileage.

id just sell it and go back to a yj.:D

glass packs sound awesome, flowmasters will sound good too though.

i would go d44 if you can with that much motor. the 30 might work theyre pretty tough. it just depends how your gonna drive it.

yea man that sounds pretty good. i have a 4.2 stock exept for a weber carb and it does pretty good with 33s and 3.07 gears, but that stroker would be nice!

im looking for a xj frontend without the disconnect and with the bigger ujoints. does anybody know the best years to get?

i was talking about the rearend, sorry for the confusion i just found out the front has a detroit in it already but the rear i have is a 60 also. if i needed something for the front no question weld that sucker up. im a big fan of welded spider gears, just on this one i want to keep it drivable...

man i feel ya, mine wont if its below 50. ive replaced damn near everything and it still wont. im taking it to my buddy whos a lot better with electrical than me. ill let you know what he finds out.

i think ill go with a lock right so i can still drive on the street. if that breaks ill go hobart locker. if nothing else ill wait till i regear and get a detroit or something similar.
