So I checked, and it does not pull when braking. Other than normal veer off when on a slanted road, it seems to head pretty straight. Also even when just rolling down the street, it seems pretty straight.

I don't THINK that it has antilock brakes on it. I don't recall ever seeing an ABS light on the dash...I'll double check. I don't think that anti lock were standard on it, but an option. Not really sure. The brake pedal isn't really "hard". It feels normal, just seems to need more pressure...

Yeah. I was actually going to get that kit at one point, and have put it off. I was just a little confused. Even mounting straight onto the unibody frame with the mounting brackets, they should still be pretty strong I would think.

So I am a little confused here. I know that the XJ is a unibody. I called 4wheel parts today, to see if they sold tow hooks, and he said that you can't mount them on an XJ. He said that the frame that you would mount them to was just thin sheet metal. That didn't make a lot of sense to me...

So, in people's opinions, are lockers something that I need? I have never yet had a problem in getting out of something that I have driven into. Should I be looking at lockers only if I am thinking of more hardcore offroading, or are they really all that needed in the first place?

Yeah ramps would work very well. You really don't need to much of an incline, just enough to get the air moving. Gravity will take care of the rest...

You could definitely use those to accentuate your silly oversized spoiler and fake hood cowls...

Those inline motors are generally very reliable. Get quite a lot of miles out of them.
