Drove back and forth to work today with no appreciable wobble. I'm planning to get an alignment done this weekend to straighten things out now that I'm done (for now) messing with the suspension. Not sure what's wrong with the new wheels yet, but will get to the bottom of it in the next week...

Here's the next question: About how much fluid does a NV231 transfer case hold? I can't seem to find that answer anywhere. Also, (maybe a stupid question) do they make synthetic transmission fluid? Does it help?

It's an '01 XJ Sport. I'm putting a 2" lift on this weekend and will probably change the transfer case and front and rear diff. lube at that time.

Well, the time has come again to change the fluid in my transfer case. Mopar suggests using ATF+4 automatic transmission fluid, but a friend of mine uses Castrol Syntec 5W-50 engine oil because he says the greater viscosity provides better lubrication. Are there pros/cons to this approach...

I know that the K&N FIPK kits are supposed to boost horsepower, but do they help gas mileage at all? For that matter, would a performance exhaust help my mpg either?

RE: Swap in a cruise control? My wife has a '00 WJ laredo and it's starting to have automatic transmission problems. Sometimes it sticks between 2nd and 3rd gear. The RPMs will reach about 4K before it shifts. We haven't taken it to the garage yet as I just found out about this yesterday...

RE: Community Volunteering Check eBay before you buy anything. There are some sellers on there that sell complete MOPAR kits for just about anything you want to buy.

This is mostly for on-road driving. Other than just new springs and shocks, what else will I need to do in order to do this right? Lower the transfer case? Anything else?
