KL lost all settings - many errors

No, the Capacitors leaked onto the board. Data logger just reads the comp. for various components air/fuel mixture just for example Unless your tuning, it should auto tune itself to whatever manufacturing specs are. Not sure about verification, you can look on your door(inner should be a tag...

KL lost all settings - many errors

That sounds like a computer module issue. Can cause the issues you described. Curious to what the dealership said about this? Before my ECU crapped out I put a data logger to my Laser and ecu was resetting every time I shut off the car, A year later it was done and had to replace it. You boost...

What to do about starter threads stripping out?

Agree with heli-coils being you best bet. I wouldn't use an original hole sized tap though to restore a threaded hole. A tap will take away material and might do the opposite of what our trying to accomplish and have to install heli-coil any way. Something to try to clean up your threads..If you...

96 Jeep Grand Cherokee electrical issue

I have a manual, I''l try to take a pic and post a wiring diagram. For the vents, may have to check your actuators behind the dash/nobs that control vent settings. Had an escort that disconnected so didn't work right, was doing what you described. would work a little but not right. Definitely a...

'94 Cherokee won't crank but battery tests fine.

New/rebuilt starter needed. A starter will do that, you can get that one perfect dead spot. I would fix whatever leaks dripping on the contacts or motor though, or at least a splash guard. It's never a good thing. In the cold, oil thickens, takes more cranking amp to start the motor and if you...

'94 Cherokee won't crank but battery tests fine.

If your hearing nothing on crank from the starter you may have a dead spot as tison78 suggested(hammer or something does work sometimes). Your relays can be tested with a voltmeter. Remove the relay, with the key on(not running)you can check for battery voltage(push in clutch if manual) If...

'94 Cherokee won't crank but battery tests fine.

ya what greg92 said. For your question 1) It is possible because of moisture, bad ground, loose connection, bombin through a farm field could cause an issue if something is jarred loose, intermittent contact. But you need to start narrowing in on your search. As stated previously, What kind of...

'94 Cherokee won't crank but battery tests fine.

I would check to see what kind of voltage was present at the starer, make sure all contacts are clean and check the grounds, clean, secure. Possible a break somewhere Splice/ contact in the ignition/starter circuit.Check your relays. And if I had another starter I would try that too. Fix you...

    Please help!!

I'd take it to the local auto parts store and have them "pull your engine codes". This is a free way to get more information about the problem. I find it strange if dealership never tried to pull any codes, or did they?. Possibly bad ground somewhere, maybe to your ecu/ecm or transmission...
