Its been a week now and no CEL, so I dont think I screwed too much up.

no the O2 is up by the engine, thats why I got rid of the cat didnt think it would have any effect on the engine

would a banana work?

RE: Performance Ignition for TJ would this show up on the YJ's computer if i had it checked out ? And if it is the problem is there a simple fix I can do at home without replacing the cat?

RE: Friend I gutted out my cat the other day which was easy enough, and now my jeep runs a hell of alot smoother.......however I went from increased power(K&N filter air restrictor removed etc..) back to gutless YJ. do you think a new O2 sensor may help or should I go for a whole new exhaust...

I found when I changed mine (for the same reasons), I had to purchase a special socket for it as well, I think the socket cost more than the sending unit. Something you may want to ask the sales clerk. Nick

yeah the first time I jabbed my hand with the screwdriver I thought there had to be a better way....lucky I found it before I had to make a trip to the ER.

I did the 15 - 20 gal mod today,it was easier than I thought. the hardest part was the vent tube however I figured out if you get a large enough screw/bolt you can thread it into the tube and pull it out. it comes out of the tank easier that way no war wounds. nick

RE: Web Template / Photoshop Help I was looking into paint options for my project CJ7, I talked to the local LineX guy he said that he would do the entire jeep inside and out for $1200 - $1500 depending on color. This stuff is tough and you dont have to worry about scratching it on the trail...

Im getting ready to start on a project, I have a 1979, and a 1981 or 82 CJ-7, I am going to be mix n matchig parts from both like frame and tub etc. is there any problems with doing this as far as what parts i can switch around or are all CJ-7s interchangeable?

see it goes to show you that beer IS good for you. I think every one should start carrying a couple cases with them in their vehicle just incase something like this happens, make it part of your vehicle emergency kit.

10.5 or 12.5's We only got about 1/2" of ice in lyndon, and about 1-2 " of snow from what the wife said, I havent had a chance to look over the damage I had to drive 32 miles to work in this stuff at 0400 A.M.. You guys down south got hit alot worse than us I hope you all are safe, keep warm...
