I am in the process of restoring a CJ7 using parts from a 79 and 80'ish CJ. I was looking in Quadratec at the Hyper Flex System suspension componets and saw that the 76-79 and the 80-86 were not the same. Anyone know why? Thanks Nick

To answer your fuel guage question NO, I have a 93 YJ and the guage has never worked right I use the trip meter. I just figure out how many miles I get on a tank of gas (330 after gas tank conversion) and subtract 50 miles off of that and I fill up at 280 miles. YJ's seem to have a lot of...

Hey Sparky we got 8" of the white stuff yesterday/this morning, its colder than a witch's mammory out there. I cant wait to get out and tear up the pretty snow drifts.

I wouldnt worry about it, I had the whole unit replaced and it didnt make any difference on the fuel guage it still stopped at 1/4. After I did the 15 to 20 Gal mod I just use the trip meter, its simple and I dont have to fill up as often.
